Don’t Miss! Our Recommendation
The first issue is coating comes off easily which is a serious one to consider. The coating can come off for misuse. Possible wrongdoings could be:
- Not cleaning off immediately after cooking
- Too much heat
- Using a dishwasher that can leave scratches
- Using harsh chemicals to wash
The dishwashing soap leaves a thin layer of a film even after washing which can cause the coating to come off after several months. And all those reasons above are valid ones. Avoid all of them, only hand wash immediately after finished cooking, and you’ll be good for a long time.
The second complaint is about its longevity. Long-lasting products contain Teflon coating which has a possible health risk. But Cuisinart doesn’t use that. So, we can consider this con for the greater good.
The third issue is true that the handlebar gets a bit hot while cooking. So, wear cooking gloves to avoid accidents.
The recommendation before we finish this section is that re-season the cookware at least twice a year for the best results. Also, try to do hand wash with dishwashing soap and use no scrubber.
Things To considering Before Buy
Before buying a nonstick cooking pan, you must consider some facts. Because you’re about to sacrifice some options and gain some at the same time. What will make it convenient is that if it fits your cooking condition or not? So, read this section to see if these are your requirements or not.
Coating & Healthy Cooking
The coating is our first thing to consider. Make sure your cooking set has at least 3-layers of the coating. Otherwise, it won’t last long. Luckily, expensive cookware sets like Cuisinart have 3-layers of the coating. Also, look for coating technology. So, Avoid Teflon and a carbon-based coating which poses a health risk.
Dishwasher Safe & Easy Cleaning
The dishwasher is not the strong suit for nonstick pans. Most nonstick cookware doesn’t welcome machine washing. If the set you’re looking for doesn’t allow dishwasher, you should do it by yourself.
Weight & Energy-Efficient Cooking
Weight is another issue. With an aluminum body, you’ll get a lightweight body which also happens to transfer the heat all over the pan evenly making it energy-efficient. Oven and broiler-proof cookware is the nest issue to consider. Make sure of that before buying.
Cuisinart Green Gourmet Oven Safe
Cuisinart green gourmet frying pans are oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, So you don’t need to worry about cooking on the cooktop.
Durability & Easy Maintenance
The last thing you should keep in mind that nonstick pans are not for heavy or rough use. Too much heat can do damages. So, handling with much care will reward you with long-time tension-free service.

Hi ! this is Flavio !
I am French/Swiss cookware reviewer that was born in Asia.
I had an interest in the culinary arts from a young age while watching my grandma prepare cakes and tarts in her home kitchen.
However, I only played my hand at exploring the culinary world when I started lending a hand to my mother with the daily kitchen chores.
Influenced by my family who were always keen in the kitchen, I carried my passion for cooking into adulthood. I have always had a curious eye on different cultures and their cuisines.
Through my exploration of several countries, I learned the uses of various kitchen cookware and the benefits of using them to prepare different dishes. With that knowledge embedded in my mind, I ventured out to nit-pick my very own cookware selections in the market…

I love, love, love this cookware!! Best NonStick Cookware I’ve owned thus far!!
I bought the 12 piece stainless steel pot set with 3 pots, 3 frying pans, a steamer as well as a 6 quart stock pot. Well they are not new but tonight when making strawberry compote the alloy bottom of the small pot separated from the pot. I couldn’t believe my eyes so I am on line to find out if this is common. The set is 10 years old and is not what I would say is overuse or abuse as I am the only one to use them. Hope to hear more about the pot and if this is under any warranty.
I conceive this Cuisinart Green Gourmet Review holds very excellent indited content material posts.
Excellent cookware set but I found some bad reviews from users. Don’t know why. However, I found it a good set.
showing a sunny side egg sliding out of the skillet is a fraud. Eggs stick in the Cuisinart skillet. If oil is used, it puddles and where there is no oil the eggs stick badly. Many many reviews report my experience. Its a shame you show that misleading picture.
